Having an exemplary career in academics spanning over 40 years, Dr. Suman Mehrotra has always been the backbone, the edifice of the Sansthan. Her contributions towards setting up the standards of education have had far reaching results in shaping the scholastic landscape of our Sansthan. Her academic leanings and progressive attitude are best reflected through her own academic graph. She worked in the B.Ed department for 36 years in Hindu Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Sitapur and retired at the post of principal in 2012. Working as the Secretary of the Sansthan since 2001, with grit and fortitude, Dr. Suman Mehrotra has the relentless spirit to achieve the best for the Sansthan.

Ms. Neeru Mehrotra dons several hats. A Sociologist by training, Ms. Mehrotra is driven to build educational infrastructure in peripheral areas, to enable young minds to experience all facets of campus life – an experience she herself missed growing up in remote areas. As an entrepreneur, she has dappled in real estate and infrastructure development. She is also a philanthropist committed to girls’ education and community entrepreneurship.

Equipped with a degree in Electrical engineering from the prestigious H.B.T.I, Kanpur, Tanushri is an ocean of patience, has boundless love to share, and is humility personified and a go-getter. Over the years, she has proved herself to be an able and prudent administrator, adapting and responding to prevailing circumstances while ensuring that interests of all are accommodated. Her grit and determination have ensured the growth and sustainability of the Sansthan which has diversified into new fields under her capable leadership. She has also instituted several best practices in the day to day running of the institutions, ensuring accountability, efficiency and productivity. Ms. Mehrotra has definitely proved her mettle in the faith that all students and employees of the Sansthan have placed in her.

Dr. Ishita Mehrotra comes with a very strong academic training. Her graduate and postgraduate degrees have been in Political Science from the prestigious institutes of Lady Shri Ram College for Women and Jawaharlal Nehru University respectively. She holds a doctorate in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. She has also taught for several years at graduate and postgraduate levels. As such, the core strength she brings to the Trust is in the domain of academic development, primarily adapting course content and teaching methods to evolving needs and government guidelines, keeping in mind the objectives of Sitapur Shiksha Sansthan.

Dr. Mehrotra holds a M.D. in Paediatrics from Era Medical College, Lucknow. Before devoting herself full-time to the Trust, she worked for several years in the country’s premier medical colleges and hospitals such as Chacha Nehru Bal Chiktsalya, Delhi, Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi, King George’s Medical College, Lucknow and Apollomedics Hospital in Lucknow. Dr. Rakshita Mehrotra is spearheading the Trust’s vision of establishing a multi-speciality hospital in the next few years with the express objective of serving the poor of Sitapur district.
