Sitapur Shiksha Sansthan is a strong proponent of making quality education accessible for all. To make this a reality, we offer a variety of financial assistance in the form of easy installments, partial waivers and scholarships. Our financial assistance is mostly based on income and merit criteria but we also consider individual cases that fall outside of these standard parameters, especially for candidates belonging to the marginalised sections of the society. Our financial assistance programme covers a wide range – tuition fees, accommodation, food and living expenses, books, laboratory expenses, transportation etc. Over the years, few local philanthropists have come forward to support education of the underprivileged. PROCESS

The Financial Aid Process

01. Application

Students will have to submit an application as per the norms of the respective affiliating body, and as applicable under various government schemes. The Sansthan will help students in processing these applications. The Sansthan also independently offers financial aid for which students are required to approach the Office of the Registrar as intimidated from time to time.

02. Verification and Review

For all government initiatives, there is a time bound process and detailed information will be made available to students at the time of filling applications.

03. Result

Financial aid is usually based on criteria such as merit or means. Financial aid by the Sansthan is also motivated by the extent to which an existing or prospective student shows potential to carry forward its vision and mission.

Types of Aid

In addition to the above, our students can also apply for various types of financial assistance offered by the government, universities, funding agencies etc. Some of these are:

Scholarships

Many of our students receive government scholarships. There are few fully funded scholarships offered by the Sansthan as well.

Easy installments

Students can apply for payment of their tuition fees in easy installments fixed in consultation with them.

Concessions and allowances

In specific circumstances, applications for concessions in mess, transport etc can be considered.
